The Matrix Model is an easy-to-use manualized treatment protocol that gives individuals the skills and understanding they need to manage their substance use disorder.
About Us
It has been refined over the past 30 years to integrate cognitive behavioral therapy, contingency management, motivational interviewing, 12 Step education, medication assisted treatment education, family/support education, and other elements to successfully treat individuals with substance use disorders. The Matrix Model also recognizes that individuals may also have other treatment needs.
Clare|Matrix Training Institute provides training on our world-famous Matrix Model and other trainings utilizing trainers who are internationally recognized for their unique blend of clinical skills and experience.
The Matrix Model training will address and assist providers in implementing the program in an integrated manner to address not only the substance use but also mental health, trauma and wellness needs. Our goal at Clare|Matrix Training Institute is to assist individuals in achieving a recovery process that works for them and assist programs in improving successful treatment outcomes.

Programs that have implemented the Matrix Model report not only very successful and improved outcomes but also use graduates of the Matrix Program in the groups to provide their recovery experiences and re-enforce the skills they learned in the Matrix program. Peer Co-leaders are able to demonstrate that recovery happens every day. Many of the Matrix graduates move on become certified or licensed and eventually employees of their agency or organizations.
